Perched on the 19th floor of a high-rise and this apartment boasts equal views inside and out. This a seafront apartment in Mumbai is an ode to the magnificence of the ocean though the overarching grey palette remains consistent across the home. Each space mirrors a different version of the sea, living room, with its sparkling inlay floor, is a brooding strand by dusk – a stark antithesis to the bedrooms, where warm herringbone flooring and emerald accents channel chattering palm fronds on a breezy day. The coastal-inspired touches are counterbalanced by voguish detailing wainscoting defines the walls in the living room, cosy armchairs elevate the bedrooms, and in the walk-in closet, it’s the storage island that steals the spotlight.
The junior suite follows the theme of visual connectivity with fun elements incorporated like the bunk bed which creates 2 different spaces to lounge & play for the kid, bespoke chevron tiled patterned flooring with a play of colors, a big teal headboard balanced by a subtle abstract wallpaper on other walls which is joyful & playful but also soothing to the eyes. The material palette across the home is layered with various textures in marble, wood & brass accents with pops of colors which make the different sections/spaces of the home flow into each other and feel like one unit, all while maintaining their purpose and distinct functionality.
