An exquisite apartment located in Bombay central on the 18th floor of a high-rise apartment building with beautiful sea views on one side and views of the Mahalaxmi racecourse and cityscape on the other. Geometric shapes and forms define the design story of this home with lines & shapes chosen as straight lines, squares, grids, circles, and even abstract shapes, all picked from the basis of geometry in the form of panels, artwork, even in loose furniture, artifacts & rugs. A flow was created throughout the entire home with colors, tones, inlays, and geometry.
The living room has a distinct feature of fluted white panels with panels of exquisite panda marble in between & a customized crimson carpet which lights up the room walls & accentuates the furniture pieces which are more in a muted color palette with brass accent pieces punctuated in between, making a strong statement as soon as one enters this space.
A sculptural geometric dining table base with a combination of exquisite grey, black & white marble (using leftover pieces from the flooring marble) inlay forming a geometric abstract pattern on the tabletop adding to the bespoke detailing & great style. The sons bedroom is based on the theme which is warm and vibrant, with touches of tan and blue , is defined by a circular alcove seating space nestled in the room for the son and his friends to enjoy. The daughter’s room is a calming & tranquil space with a palette of lavender and white having a character and style of its own.
